What is NavSight Pro?
NavSight Pro is an all-in-one maritime compliance and fleet management platform built for shipping companies, fleet managers, and maritime professionals. It unifies fleet operations, compliance tracking, crew management, PMS, QHSE, vetting, and safety into a single web-based platform — replacing spreadsheets, emails, and paper logs.
Who is NavSight Pro designed for?
NavSight Pro is designed for:
  • Fleet Managers and DPA (Designated Person Ashore) officers

Is there a free trial available?
Yes. NavSight Pro offers a 90-day free trial with full access to all modules. No credit card is required to start. After the trial period, you can choose a plan that fits your fleet size and requirements.
What modules are included in NavSight Pro?

Is NavSight Pro cloud-based or installed locally?
NavSight Pro is fully cloud-based and accessible via any modern web browser — no installation required. All data is stored securely in the cloud with automatic backups. There is also a companion vessel app (NavSight Vessel) for onboard access.
Can I access NavSight Pro on mobile?
Yes. The NavSight Pro web platform is responsive and works on tablets and mobile browsers. For vessel crew, the dedicated NavSight Vessel app provides offline-capable access to voyage logs, maintenance records, and compliance checklists directly on board.

👤Account & Access

How do I create an account?
Click Start Free Trial on the NavSight Pro homepage and complete the registration form. You will receive a verification email. Once verified, you can log in and begin setting up your fleet immediately.
How do I invite team members?
Go to Settings → Team and click Invite Member. Enter the user's email address and assign them a role. They will receive an invitation email with a link to set their password and join your organisation.
What roles and permissions are available?
NavSight Pro has a role-based access control system with the following roles:
  • Super Admin — full access to all modules and admin functions
  • Fleet Manager — manage all vessels, crew, and compliance data
  • Assistant Manager — similar to Fleet Manager with some restrictions
  • QHSE Officer — access to safety, QHSE, and compliance modules
  • Crew Officer — crewing, STCW, and MLC data
  • Viewer — read-only access to assigned modules
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, click Forgot Password and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link. The link expires after 1 hour. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support@navsightpro.com.
How do I change my email address or profile details?
Go to Settings → Profile to update your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo. Changes to email addresses may require re-verification.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion can be initiated from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This action is permanent and removes all vessels, certificates, crew records, and documents associated with your organisation. We recommend exporting your data before proceeding. If you need help, contact support@navsightpro.com.

💳Billing & Plans

Billing
How is NavSight Pro priced?
NavSight Pro is priced based on fleet size (number of vessels) and the modules required. We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Enterprise pricing is available for large fleets. Contact sales@navsightpro.com for a custom quote.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time from Settings or by contacting support@navsightpro.com. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our secure payment provider. Bank transfer and invoice-based billing is available for enterprise accounts. Contact support@navsightpro.com for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings or by emailing support@navsightpro.com. Cancellation stops future charges but does not remove access until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months unless otherwise agreed.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@navsightpro.com within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error. We aim to respond to all billing queries within 1 business day.
Do you offer discounts for annual plans?
Yes. Annual subscriptions receive a discount compared to monthly billing. Contact sales@navsightpro.com for current pricing and any available promotions.

🚢Vessels & Fleet

Fleet
How do I add a vessel?
From the Fleet Management module, click Add Vessel and fill in the vessel details including IMO number, vessel type, flag state, and classification society. You can also upload a vessel photo from your Cloudflare R2 storage or device.
How many vessels can I manage?
The number of vessels depends on your subscription plan. During the free trial, you can add up to 5 vessels. Paid plans support larger fleets. Contact sales@navsightpro.com if you need to manage a large or unlimited fleet.
Can I track PSC readiness for each vessel?
Yes. The Fleet Management module includes a PSC Readiness dashboard that aggregates certificate status, overdue maintenance, outstanding observations, and QHSE findings per vessel, giving you a real-time readiness score before port calls.
Can I import vessel data from spreadsheets?
Yes. NavSight Pro supports CSV import for certificates, crew records, PMS jobs, and other data. Go to the relevant module and look for the Import option. Download the template, fill in your data, and upload. Contact support@navsightpro.com for assistance with large data migrations.

📋Compliance & Certificates

Compliance
What certificate types does NavSight Pro track?
NavSight Pro tracks all statutory and class certificates including:
  • SOLAS certificates (Safety Equipment, Safety Radio, Safety Construction)
  • MARPOL certificates (IOPP, Air Pollution, Sewage)
  • Load Line, Tonnage, SMC, DOC, MLC certificates
  • Class certificates and survey records
  • Port State Control inspection history
  • Custom certificates specific to your fleet
How does the certificate expiry alert system work?
NavSight Pro automatically sends email and in-app alerts when certificates are approaching expiry. Alerts are triggered at configurable intervals (e.g. 90, 60, 30, and 7 days before expiry). You can manage alert preferences in Settings → Alerts.
Does NavSight Pro support Oil Record Book (ORB) entries?
Yes. The Compliance module includes a digital Oil Record Book supporting all standard ORB Part I and Part II operation codes. Entries are timestamped, signed off by the officer in charge, and retained for the mandatory 3-year period in line with MARPOL Annex I requirements.
Can I manage SIRE and CDI vetting inspections?
Yes. The Vetting module provides full management of SIRE 2.0, CDI, and other vetting inspections including question banks, observation tracking, analytics dashboards, fleet readiness heatmaps, and historical trend analysis.
Is MLC 2006 compliance tracking supported?
Yes. NavSight Pro tracks MLC 2006 compliance across crew rest hours, wages, employment agreements, medical certificates, repatriation records, and seafarer complaint handling — all aligned with Maritime Labour Convention requirements.

👥Crew Management

What crew documents can I track?
NavSight Pro tracks all seafarer documents including:
  • STCW certificates and endorsements (CoC, CoP, GMDSS, STCW Basic Safety)
  • Passports, Seaman's Books, and visas
  • Medical fitness certificates (ENG1 / Flag State equivalent)
  • Yellow fever and vaccination records
  • MLC employment agreements (SEA)
  • Flag state endorsements
Expiry alerts are sent automatically for all tracked documents.
How do I record crew sign-on and sign-off?
Go to Crew Management → Sign-On / Sign-Off. Select the vessel, the crew member, and enter the date, port, and rank. The system automatically updates the crew list, voyage records, and rest hour calculations.
Can I track rest hours under STCW?
Yes. The Crew module includes STCW rest hour tracking per seafarer per vessel. The system flags non-conformities automatically and generates rest hour reports for port state control inspections in the standard table format.
Can crew members access NavSight Pro on board?
Yes, via the NavSight Vessel companion app, which provides onboard crew with access to their personal documents, rest hour records, voyage logs, maintenance job cards, and safety checklists — even with limited or intermittent internet connectivity.

🔧Technical

Technical
Which browsers are supported?
NavSight Pro is fully supported on the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. We recommend using Chrome or Edge for the best experience. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Is my data secure?
Yes. NavSight Pro uses industry-standard security measures including:
  • TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • JWT-based authentication with secure session management
  • Role-based access controls
  • Automated daily backups with geo-redundant storage
  • Audit trail logging for all actions
Where is my data hosted?
NavSight Pro is hosted on Railway cloud infrastructure with Cloudflare for file storage and CDN delivery. All primary data is stored in secure data centres. For data residency requirements, contact support@navsightpro.com.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Most modules support CSV and PDF export. Reports can be generated and downloaded as PDF documents. For a full data export of your organisation's records, contact support@navsightpro.com and we will arrange an export within 5 business days.
What do I do if I find a bug or something isn't working?
Use the Report a Bug feature inside the platform (Settings → Support → Report a Bug) or email support@navsightpro.com. Please include:
  • A description of what happened and what you expected
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Your browser and device type
  • Screenshots if available
We investigate all bug reports and aim to push fixes within 1–3 business days depending on severity.
Is there an API or integration available?
NavSight Pro API access is available for enterprise customers. Integrations with third-party systems (ERP, crewing software, AIS providers) can be arranged through our technical team. Contact support@navsightpro.com for API documentation and integration support.
